PRT Exhibition in Bath

As part of the CIVITAS Renaissance Project, Advanced Transport Systems (ATS) held a public exhibition of ULTra Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) design concepts for the city of Bath; the results of this international design competition. The two-day event, which was free to the public, provided information about PRT, what it can offer, and how it may be adapted to a historic city environment. Held on the 12th and 13th November in the market square at Green Park Station, the exhibition featured the visions of independent designers from around the world, looking at how PRT might someday be applied to a city like Bath. During the event, ATS personnel discussed the ideas with the public, who were invited to vote for their favourite designs and leave feedback via a questionnaire.

ATS would like to thank all those who came to the exhibition at Green Park Station; it was great to see so many people take an interest in ULTra. We appreciate the time taken to provide us with feedback and comments - your survey and questionnaire responses are currently being analysed, and will be incorporated both into our study into the feasibility of ULTra in a historic environment such as Bath, and also into the results of this competition.

For those who were unable to leave comments during the event but would still like to do so, please use either the contact form accessible via the menu on the left, or send your thoughts to our Thornbury office for the attention of John Hammersley.
