Multi-Vehicle Operations Certification Testing Commences Ahead of Schedule

Advanced Transport Systems (ATS) has successfully completed the Single Vehicle Certification Testing Program ahead of schedule. Program activities included formal certification protocol activities, provision of an initial six vehicles in finished configuration for testing purposes, validation of central control, completion of Automated Vehicle Protection system, single vehicle tests (a vehicle travels from one station to another station, validating Autonomous Vehicle Control and Station Control), and some site cosmetic work such as installation of passenger guidance signage at Business Parking T5.

Multi-Vehicle Certification Testing has now commenced. Program activities will include formal certification protocol activities, delivery of additional vehicles, validation of Public Address / Closed Circuit TV systems, validation of vehicle Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), validation of vehicle software, multi-vehicle tests (see our Cardiff test track three-vehicle station test, for example: http://www.ultraprt.com/cms/index.php?page=april). Multi-vehicle choreography complexity and number of vehicles participating in tests will grow throughout this project phase.

While others sleep, ATS continues work into the night to ensure passenger delight
