Fiberglass Grid Running Surface
The compact, lightweight nature of the ULTra vehicles allows for correspondingly low size and less visually intrusive infrastructure; in sensitive locations where elevated guideway is desired, a fiberglass grid running surface (such as that shown on the right) which allows light to shine through and is less bulky than the standard concrete planks helps minimize any visual impact.
